Recipe - Idli Manchurian

Idli Manchurian

* 3 Idli's cut in to bits.
* Corn flour-1 tbsp.
*  Maida-1 tbsp
* Pepper Powder-1/2 tbsp.
* For Manchurian Sauce- 1/2 Chopped Green bell Pepper.
* Spring Onion Whites.
* Small Chopped onion-1.
* Chopped Ginger-1/2 inch.
* 2 Cloves crushed Garlic,
* 2 tbsp spring Onion Greens.
* 1 tbsp Soy sauce.
* 1 tsp Tomato Ketch up
* 1/2 tsp Pepper Powder.
* Salt.


Take Idli bits in a bowl.
 Add corn flour, maida, pepper powder to the idlis and toss well.
Add 1-2 tablespoon water and toss well just to bind.
 Deep fry the idli cubes in hot oil and set aside.
 In the same kadai remove the excess oil retaining about 2 tablespoons of oil.
 Add chopped ginger garlic, spring onion whites.
 Fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add chopped onions and sauce for few minutes.
 Add chopped bell peppers and sauce in high flame for 3-4 minutes.
 Let the veggie be crunchy.
Add soy sauce, ketchup, pepper powder, saly, sugar and mix well.
Let the consistency thicken a bit.
Add the fried idlis, toss quickly and remove from flame.
Add spring onion greens and serve hot.
